Please Note: Provision of any lighting HVAC or fire detection systems is currently excluded from our specification and quotation.
Mezzanine floors should be approved by both Building Regulations and the fire officer and you can make this application yourself or we can do it for you for an additional fee. The approval should be in place prior to manufacture and installation or we can proceed prior to approval on your instruction and letter of indemnity.
In support of any application you do make, we will provide copies of all the drawings and calculations which prove our design. The Floor will be signed to show the safe working loads proven by these calculations.
Price includes installation + delivery to England, Wales, Scotland up to Edinburgh/Glasgow, also includes pre-manufacture site survey and assumes there will be a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) on site for unloading.
Delivery
- The goods will be delivered to you, the buyer, at the address provided by you on the order form. The risk in the goods shall pass to you upon such delivery taking place.
- All quoted delivered prices include delivery to England and Wales excluding Scotland , Offshore Islands and Highlands ( Postcodes – PA ,PH , AB , IV , KW , HS) . Delivery to these locations may incur additional costs requiring payment either through the website checkout or by the seller contacting the sales office.
- Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the goods however caused.
- We shall not be liable to you, the buyer, for short delivery of the goods however caused but will provide you with the outstanding goods as soon as is reasonably practical.
- Receipt and Return of Goods.
- The buyer, will inspect the goods upon delivery and will notify the seller immediately of any damages or shortages. Any defects in the goods must be notified to the seller within 10 working days from the date the goods were delivered. Save in respect of any shortages or defects if you, the buyer, fail to comply with this clause we will not be held legally liable in respect of any other complaint which should have been brought to our attention within this period.
- Otherwise than in 13 a) above, Goods cannot be returned without prior consent of the seller in writing. Handling charges may be levied for returned goods and repackaging charges if packaging has been removed or damaged. Returned goods must be in a resaleable condition or receipt may be refused or repair charges incurred at the Sellers discretion.
- All carriage and administration costs will be recovered from the buyer where no fault is attributed to the ‘seller’. Prior to any reimbursement the actual costs will be informed to the buyer who will need to agree the charges in writing.
- Reimbursement will buy the same method of payment as the original payment unless otherwise agreed by the both parties.
- The Sellers invoice always follows despatch of the goods. If after three days following receipt of the invoice the Customer has not received the goods, the Seller should be informed by telephone or in writing. Failure to do so could render invalid any claim the Seller might have on the transporter or carrier whose own trading conditions may be governed by a time period. In the event of any goods being delivered damaged or short delivered, the carriers note should be endorsed accordingly and a copy should be sent to the Seller within 3 days of delivery of the goods. The Seller will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage if this condition is not adhered to.
- In the event of a delivery not being completed due to factors outside the seller’s control such as non-availability of personnel for receipt then the goods will be returned to the trading address. All additional costs related to completing the delivery at a later point will be charged to the buyer before future dispatch.

We will accept goods back for restocking providing the following procedure is adhered to and with the following exceptions:

- We are notified of return within 10 working days from date of dispatch at which time providing this is acceptable, a returns number will be issued. Goods without the official returns number will be refused. All returns must be arranged by customers own transportation methods.
- Goods must be standard products and in as new condition. Goods being returned must be wrapped to protect against damage on return journey. We reserve the right to change for refurbishment costs as well as restocking costs.
- Goods that are ‘Made to order’ or ‘Bespoke’ or which have been manufactured special against a written quote cannot be returned. Any mobile steps with gates are considered to be a special product as platform is extended to incorporate gate and cannot be modified back to standard.
- Mobile steps above 9 treads cannot be accepted, as we have restricted space available.
- Any product fitted with a factory fitted (F/F) item, is classed as a specifically made to order product and there is non refundable.
- We will not accept return on any quantity orders. Our definition of quantity is 3 and above and is based on total order quantity, not per product quantity.
- Provided goods are returned in a resaleable condition we will issue credit less restocking costs. If goods require refurbishment, we will issue a damage report and advise of the costs involved.
- All returns are subject to 30% restocking fees.
- All returns must be returned to us within 10 working days of returns number being issued. Failure to return within this period will result in the goods being refused and no longer returnable.
